How to Use WASHOKU Treasure?

WASHOKU Treasure is an online shopping site especially for restaurant chefs, retail buyers, importers, and distributors all over the world, where you can order food samples of regional specialties from our list of companies around Japan. Please see details below for instructions on how to use our website.

Free Registration

Please enter the necessary information on the Sign up page.An email will be sent to the address you entered. Click on the URL in the mail to complete your registration.By registering, you can receive early notification of campaigns and special deals.

Order Samples

If you find a product you are interested in, add it to your cart and place your order.You will need to enter your profile information in the required fields the first time you make a purchase. The information you have entered will be saved for future purchases. You can place and complete your order on the website.

Payment

After confirming the estimated delivery date, we will email you an invoice URL within two business days. After receiving the email, please make the payment within three days. Payments can only be made with a credit card.

Try Samples

If you wish to officially make a purchase after sampling, please contact us through the Contact form. You can ask us about distribution methods and business negotiations.

About delivery fees

*Delivery fees are free or charged depending on the item, and may differ based on the shipping weight and destination. Please see here for delivery fee estimates.
When we send multiple items that are a mix of free and charged shipping together, the delivery fee will be calculated by adding the fees for the items that charge for shipping only.

Regarding how long it takes to deliver products

From placing your sample order to making the payment
After confirming the estimated delivery date, we will send you an invoice URL within two business days. If you do not make the payment within three days after receiving the invoice URL, the order will be automatically canceled.
From shipping to arrival
The product will be shipped after we have confirmed payment. Please expect the product to arrive one to two weeks after making the payment.

*Our business hours are 10am to 5pm (Japan Time) from Mondays to Fridays. The delivery time may change slightly according to the day and time. Delivery days may be delayed depending on the state of stock.

Regarding the number of products

We may ship products separately depending on storage temperatures (frozen/regular temperature products) or weight limits.

About registration and using of service

Can we purchase samples even if we are not in the food business?
As our services are intended for businesses in the food industry, purchases are not available for regular consumers. Information about your business is required when you make a purchase.
Can we resell samples or use them for our menu?
The aim of our services is to provide samples, therefore reselling them or using them as items for official menus is prohibited. Please use them for sampling purposes only.
Do we need to register as a member to order?
Yes. Please register as a member via sign up page.
Do we need to register even if we are not ordering anything?

About Order and Payment

What is included in the payment?
It includes the sample and shipping costs. There are two types of samples- paid and free samples in WASHOKU Treasure. You may or may not have to pay for the shipping costs according to the samples.
Can I choose the payment method?
We only accept payment by credit card.
Can I get an official receipt voucher?
Please send us a message via the contact form.We will issue a receipt. You can also see payment statements in your My Page.
Who should I contact to inquire about the order?

About Refunds, Changes and Cancellations of Orders

Can I cancel my order? Can I change my order?
After making the payment, you cannot cancel, alter, or add to your order, nor can we ship separate orders as one or change the shipping addresses. However, if we cannot confirm your payment within three days of sending you the invoice URL, the order will be automatically canceled.
The item delivered was not what I ordered. What should I do?
