If we call the regular hojicha "Deeply Roasted", "Kaguwashi" from Sueyoshi Tea Workshop is rare product which has been moderately roasted (Medium Roast). "Ao Hojicha" was finished with strictly selected tea leaves picked in spring and finished with our own roasting and blending technology so that you can feel refreshing sweetness and umami like sencha (green tea) in addition to astringent despite being sweet and savory like hojicha.
    Use scene
Needless to say, it is good for the tea after your meal and it is good for drinking it before sleeping as well as for small children to drink it since "Kaguwashi" contains less caffeine due to the process for roasting.

    Producer's comment
All the tea at Sueyoshi tea workshop is produced in Soo-shi, Kagoshima prefecture. We use only carefully selected high-quality tea leaves carefully and slowly brought up under severe climate condition of a large temperature difference by sincerely facing with the leaves and their producers and taking time. We are also working to preserve rich biodiversity of the region as well as production of high-quality tea by using the same farming method as the tea plants in Shizuoka Prefecture (Chagusaba), recognized as a World Agricultural Heritage. 'You can feel more comfortable with your special tea and make your feeling the aftereffects life more familiar'
